In addition to our commercial and investment background, we also bring a solid foundation in financial audit and accounting—giving CapX a well-rounded perspective that combines both financial integrity and strategic foresight.
We also have deep experience in network development, having completed analysis and strategy for new retail and hospitality locations in New Zealand & Australia, ensuring optimal site selection and sustainable returns.

Bernard Leong is a seasoned investment analyst and financial modeling expert with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, network development, and capital expenditure strategy. He has advised multinational firms, including BP, on strategic investment decisions using advanced DCF models, feasibility studies, and scenario analysis. Bernard specializes in evaluating capital projects, improving financial performance, and guiding data-driven decisions across the retail, energy, hospitality, and real estate sectors through tailored financial modeling and strategic insights.
Charles Chow
Lead Advisor - Finance
Charles is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and equity research, having held key roles at JP Morgan Chase and DBS Vickers. A chartered accountant and graduate of the University of Auckland and the London School of Economics, he now advises a family office on portfolio strategy and teaches part-time at the University of Auckland. He is also a proud member of the KEA World Class New Zealander network.

Peter Devine is an AI engineer and PhD graduate from the University of Auckland, where he specialized in natural language processing (NLP) for software feedback analysis. His research focused on training and evaluating Transformer-based models to understand user intent and generate actionable insights for developers.
